MassACDA Summer Conference 2002 Clinicians

 

DR. JONATHAN REED, MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY

Jonathan Reed is Associate Professor of Music at Michigan State University, where he conducts the State Singers and the Men's Glee Club, and teaches at the graduate and undergraduate levels.

Dr. Reed is an active adjudicator and clinician, conducting festivals and all-state choruses throughout the United States. Under his direction the MSU Men's Glee Club has completed three European tours and performed at the ACDA National Conferences in Chicago (1999) and San Antonio (2001).

He holds a bachelor's degree from the Hartt School of Music, an M.F.A. from the University of California at Irvine and a D.M.A. from Michigan State University. In 1999 he was honored with the Outstanding Faculty Award at MSU.

He presently serves ACDA as the national repertoire and standards chair for mate choruses.
