Exit Numbering -- please note:  

West of Boston, Routes 95 and 128 share the same highway.  As you travel north on this highway, exit numbers increase from Exit 12 where Routes 95 and 128 join in Canton, until you reach Exit 45 at the point where the two routes diverge in Peabody.  

Continuing north on Route 128 after it diverges from Route 95, Exit 45 is followed by Exit 28.  At this point, exit numbers decrease as you continue north on Route 128.

This information may help to avoid the confusion that sometimes results when looking for Exit 17, mentioned below.

From points North:

Take Route 95 South to Route 128 North.  Remain on Route 128 North through Peabody, Danvers, and Beverly, Mass., passing over Routes 114 and 62. Take Exit 17. Turn left at the first street (Grapevine Road) after exiting Rte. 128. Gordon is 1/4 mile on the right.

Take Route 95 North around Boston or Route 93 North through Boston. If taking Route 93, exit at Route 95 onto Route 95 North to Peabody. Stay on Route 95 until it separates from Route 128. At that point, take Route 128 toward Gloucester.  Remain on Route 128 North through Peabody, Danvers, and Beverly, Mass., passing over Routes 114 and 62. Take Exit 17. Turn left at the first street (Grapevine Road) after exiting Rte. 128. Gordon is 1/4 mile on the right.

Take any highway (such as the Mass Turnpike, Route 90) to Route 95 North. Stay on Route 95 until it separates from Route 128. At that point, take Route 128 toward Gloucester  Remain on Route 128 North through Peabody, Danvers, and Beverly, Mass., passing over Routes 114 and 62. Take Exit 17. Turn left at the first street (Grapevine Road) after exiting Rte. 128. Gordon is 1/4 mile on the right.
