About Gordon College Gordon
College is a nationally ranked, predominately undergraduate institution and the
only nondenominational Christian college in New England. Located in Wenham,
Massachusetts-just 25 miles north of Boston and minutes from the Atlantic
Ocean-Gordon offers a unique commitment to character and scholarship in a
dynamic community that integrates faith, learning and living. Gordon remains
true to the New England educational tradition originally established by the
nation's most prestigious universities-where faith and intellectual development
were considered complementary, not contradictory. Gordon's
1,700 students are from 42 states and 21 foreign countries. The College offers
33 majors, a world of off-campus study programs and real-world experience, and
master's programs in music and education. The campus, located on several hundred
acres with woods and ponds, includes the new Phillips Music Center and the
Barrington Center for the Arts. Both facilities help solidify Gordon's position
as a premier cultural center on the North Shore. The
College has earned a great deal of recognition from nationally known
organizations such as U.S. News & World Report, Barron's Best Buys,
Peterson's Top Colleges for Science and the Templeton Honor Roll for
Character-Building Colleges. Gordon
